The NTPGA Foundation offers youth opportunities to learn, play and compete throughout their skill development. Although our programs foster competition, the primary goals are to grow the game, provide a welcoming and inclusive environment, and encourage friendship, sportsmanship, honesty, and integrity.

Our comprehensive junior golf programs set the stage for kids and future generations to enjoy the game of golf for a lifetime. Programs include summer camps, PGA Jr. League, Drive, Chip & Putt and the NTPGA Junior Tour. The Northern Texas PGA Junior Tour is one of the largest of its kind in the country.
Drive, Chip & Putt

A joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America, the Drive, Chip & Putt Championship is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf.

By tapping the creative and competitive spirit of girls and boys ages 7-15, the Drive, Chip & Putt Championship provides aspiring junior golfers an opportunity to play with their peers in qualifiers around the country.
Junior Tour

The Prep Tour is for NTPGA Junior Tour members ages 7-19 who have achieved beginning level golf and tournament experience, and offers competitive 9-hole individual stroke play tournaments. The Prep Tour provides additional opportunities for skill development and tournament experience. Prep Tour tournaments are conducted throughout the year (Spring, Summer and Fall Series) in East Texas, West Texas and the DFW Metroplex.
Junior Tour Membership

Junior golfers must be a member of the Northern Texas PGA Junior Tour to compete in an NTPGA Junior Tour tournament. The membership fee is $90.00 and is good for the calendar year. There are additional membership benefits offered. You can see those below.

The NTPGA Junior Tour has created a short membership quiz designed to help both parents and junior golfers better understand important policies and procedures related to participation in NTPGA Junior Tour tournaments.It is recommended that parents and junior golfers complete the membership quiz together.
College Scholarships

The Northern Texas PGA Foundation is pleased to continue its charitable commitment to higher education by announcing its 2021 scholarship recipients. 54 recipients earned scholarships totaling $454,500, the largest amount ever awarded in a single year by the Foundation.

Established in 2007, the Fairway to Success Program annually awards scholarships to deserving students based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, community involvement and financial need.Each year at least one outstanding and deserving senior at each high school is awarded a four-year, $20,000 scholarship.
