Dr. Hanson graduated from the Nova S.E. School of Optometry in 1997 at the ripe old age of 42. He has been practicing in the Fort Myers area for over 20 years. He is well known for his kind and gentle nature and personally discusses the unique visual needs of each and every patient.
Dr. Hanson is Florida Board Certified to diagnosis, treat and monitor many eye diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and many other ocular diseases.He uses state of the art technology like the Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) that is a medical cross-sectional diagnostic imaging of the retina and the Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) that measures the electrical activity of the entire vision system.
