As they grow into toddlers, they continue to quickly develop and become their own individuals. In the toddler program, the children are encouraged to express and share these unique personalities.
Our preschoolers are introduced to a balanced program in which both teacher and student directed learning is done. Our center based classroom layout allows for the preschoolers to explore, be creative, and develop critical thinking skills through the engagement of individualized centers. The pre-kindergarten program is geared towards fully preparing students socially and academically to enter kindergarten.

What once started as a dream for one young girl has turned into an adventure. In 2015, Valarie opened a beautiful child development center with an amazing team at her side. In less than a year they grew the center from 35 children to over 140 children. Even though the center has grown so quickly, the quality, personal care, and attention to each family's needs has always remained the same.

Our teaching staff regularly attend ongoing training and educational seminars to learn new and exciting things which they bring back to the classroom to engage and educate the students and share with their peers. Hi, my name is Valarie Petersen and I am the owner of New Wonders Learning Center. I have been in the childcare field for 15 years and owning a childcare learning enter has always been a dream of mine.

Our programs concentrate on fostering initiative, creativity, and thinking skills through activities which enhance the children's abilities to communicate, solve problems, practice interpersonal social skills, and imagine experiences for themselves with self-confidence. Children are introduced to a balanced program in which both teacher-directed and student-directed learning is done.

The focus of our infant program is to provide the children with a safe, loving, and nurturing environment based on their unique and ever changing needs. As the infants grow, a selected primary caregiver will grow along with them. This will provide the infants and their families with the consistency and trust necessary to help form and foster the emotional bonds crucial for their early development.
Toddlers

As children grow into toddlers, they continue to quickly develop, change, and grow into their own individuals. In our Toddler Program, the children are encouraged to express and share these unique personalities. Weekly lesson plans are created by the toddler teachers to expose and guide the toddlers into learning the skills essential for healthy emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
