Andre "Tim" Monteiro earned his black belt in 2003 and began teaching BJJ throughout Brazil, Europe, and the USA. He is a 4x Super-Fight Champion, 2005 Pan American Adult Bronze Medalist, and NY Pro 2018 Champion (among other accolades). He also holds a degree in physical therapy, giving him an advanced understanding of body kinesthetics and safe training.

Excellent teacher and gym! The place is very clean, which is super important to me. I have been Professor Monteiro's student for the last 5 years. I started with him as a White Belt and now a Purple Belt. His teaching, coaching, and mentoring on the mats has helped more off the mats to be a better working professional and husband.
