We believe that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has the power to not only provide physical fitness and defense, but also impact how you view and interact with the world outside of the mats. BJJ will teach you problem-solving skills, confidence, assertiveness, and humility. More times than not if you get into an altercation both participants end up on the ground.
BJJ not only helps you escape those terrible situations but also shows you how you can control the situation. If you need to feed your competitive side, sport BJJ is a great way to get involved in competitons and really test the knowledge you have gain. You'll not only learn how to control your opponents, but most importantly control yourself under stressful situations.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Report
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling but especially ground fighting. It was derived from the Japanese martial art of Kodokan Judo in the early 20th century, which was itself then a recently-developed system (founded in 1882), based on multiple schools (or Ryu) of Japanese jujutsu.

Consistency is the name of the game in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - the more often you train, the faster you will progress! While everyone looks forward to it, receiving a belt won't make you any better at Jiu Jitsu. The belt is simply there to keep your jacket closed, but the skills and knowledge you gain on the journey will last a lifetime.
