As a fifth grader growing up in Duluth, Jonathan Siverson became enraptured with science. After doing a school report on periodontal disease, he decided he wanted to devote the rest of his life to becoming a dentist. He received a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Saint John's University (MN) and had a research project published in the Journal of Organometallic Chemistry.
