With a nod to New Orleans' famous Galatoire's Friday Lunch, the Inn wraps the work week with a Friday Lunch menu featuring NOLA classics. The Polo Bar takes its name from the work of celebrated area artist B'Beth Weldon and a sport with a rich history on the Eastern Shore. Our mixology menu is as inspired as our food: the Cucumber Cooler, Cold Brew Martini or Polo Punch are not to be missed.

When the Beckner's built their Midwestern farmhouse-style home in 1906, Fairhope was a town of just a few hundred visionary dreamers. Established by utopian Quakers at the turn of the century, Fairhope drew writers, artists, thinkers, and innovators from around the country. Visitors traveled by paddleboat steamer across Mobile Bay and stayed at balmy cottages on the shore.

The Look
Report
The Polo Bar sports the award-winning work of B'Beth Weldon - an internationally exhibited and collected Fairhope artist. Paige immediately turned to her friend in a search for the bar's signature look, and few know polo from a paintbrush quite like Weldon.

A childhood equestrian herself who watched the Point Clear Polo Club from a blanket with her family back in the 60's, Weldon 's polo works are found at the United States Sports Academy and in galleries and private collections around the world. The bright, comfortably sophisticated feel today comes from the design talents of Lila McDuffie Bailey.
