After working for one of the largest financial organizations in the world and then working for one of the top tax and estate law firms in Atlanta, Everett Morris wanted to create a practice that would provide tax and legal services that compliment the related disciplines of financial services and wealth management in a client-friendly manner.
In late 2013, Everett opened Morris Legal and Tax, LLC in the same office as the best group of financial advisors that he knows at WealthMD. While maintaining separate entities, their shared office space and tight relationship allows them to team up as one unit to serve their joint clients.

At Morris Legal and Tax LLC, we provide virtually all of the legal services that fall within the umbrella of Wealth Management Law. Many of our clients utilize us for several of the services listed below as part of a comprehensive approach. During her second year in law school, Najah fell in love with tax law, and began tailoring her classes and work experience around tax and estate law. As a newly admitted member to the bar, Najah believes that while knowledge and understanding of the law is essential to her career, being able to connect with clients and understanding their concerns is equally important.
Lauren Guidry

Lauren Guidry serves as a legal assistant for Morris Legal & Tax where she schedules clients and assists them with non-legal needs, handles billings and payments, and generally keeps the office organized in a multitude of ways. Lauren believes the foundation to any great firm is creating an efficiency and having personnel willing to maintain its integrity.

At Morris Legal and Tax, LLC, our tax return preparation services are focused on individual tax returns, including individuals who own their own businesses. We prepare state tax returns for any state in the United States, in addition to federal tax returns. With our tax preparation services, you also receive some tax planning tips, including adjusting your tax withholdings and contributing to tax advantaged retirement accounts.
