Testimonials
Report
My experience with Jill at To the Point Acupuncture has been terrific. I've only been going for a couple of months and after 2 years of infertility treatments and tests my husband and our expecting our first child. Jill's professional attitude and warmth as a person shine through quickly, my fears were quickly put to rest and my comfort level with treatments came easily.
Pediatrics
Report
Acupuncture is not only for adults, but for children as well. Because acupuncture aims to balance one's body naturally and without harmful side effects, it is a great way to keep your children healthy all year long. Depending on your child's age, different techniques may be used. One such technique is called Shonishin.
Cupping & Gua Sha
Report
During cupping, glass or plastic cups are suctioned onto the patient to help increase the flow of qi and blood through the body. A technique of sliding the cups along tight muscle bands works very well to release tension and adhesions within the muscle. Cupping also works to pull stagnation or toxins from the patient through the skin.
Moxibustion
Report
Moxa is placed on the head of a needle or rolled into stick form and produces a warm sensation on the skin. The heat from the moxa on different acupuncture points creates a different therapeutic response than when using acupuncture alone. Moxa is known to have warming, moving, and tonifying properties which allow for the building of blood, movement of qi, and overall improvement of general health.
