Additionally, at Spring Forward Physical Therapy, your doctor will determine the reason that injury developed or happened. Our unique approach will address both the resultant painful injury while also treating the reason behind it.
Ankle Sprain
Report
If you have ankle weakness you may feel tenderness, swelling, bruising, painful range of motion (especially when moving the foot inward), inability to fully bear weight through the ankle. An ankle ligament injury is diagnosed by a physical therapist when a patient presents with the signs and symptoms of an ankle sprain and exhibits positive findings to specialized ankle tests.
Bulging Disc
Report
The spinal discs rest between each vertebra and provide shock absorption, support, and mobility to the spine. A bulging disc, or herniated disc, is a condition where the gel-like material that fills the spinal discs herniates or leaks out. The disc material may then put pressure on (aka "impinge") onto nearby spinal nerves, which can cause pain to be felt in the back or down the leg.

The Spring Forward facility is really wonderful - spacious, lots of light, well equipped. Allows for individual attention which is reassuring in the time of Covid. The staff are knowledgeable and efficient and friendly. Danielle was my therapist and she was terrific. Worked slowly and sensitively to help me recover from a meniscus tear after Plasma Replacement Therapy. Ultimately she suggested I go for a cortisone shot which changed the trajectory of my therapy. It eliminated my pain and we worked on building knee strength. I really liked that she was in touch with my rehab doctor at Weill Cornell

I went to see Danielle after injuring myself working out. She rightly referred me for x-rays due to the nature of my accident and I discovered i had fractured my back. After the diagnosis she worked with me to get back to lifting in the gym and I am back to full strength with no issues. Her diligence saved me from much more severe injury and I am forever grateful. I cannot recommend her services and Spring forward PT enough.

Danielle is absolutely fabulous. I have a disease that results in lower back pain, SI joint pain, and hip pain, and she worked with me to alleviate, strengthen, and stretch around the areas, and it made all the difference. And what a delight to work with. I still do the exercises she gave me a year ago. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I had a PT evaluation by Danielle W and Eugene on 2/13/2020. I was so surprised that they spent so much time with me. They really listened to my concerns and made sure they addressed all my questions. They took the time to show me different exercises and sent me exercises that have already helped me. I never felt rushed. Danielle has even emailed me twice as a follow up. It's so refreshing to work with a PT practice like Spring Forward. Thank you.

My husband and I are both long-time patients of Dr. Danielle Weis. We have complete faith and trust in Dr. Weis's expertise and hands-on ability. Invariably, we both feel stronger, revitalized and virtually pain-free when we finish a session with Danielle. The facility itself is beautiful, welcoming and professionally run as well.
Simply stated, Dr. Danielle Weis is the best!

I highly recommend Dr. Danielle Weis. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, intuitive and able to vary my treatment in response to the current state of my body at each appointment. She is also very kind and engaging and takes the time to answer my questions and explain what is going on. Through hands-on manual manipulation/myofascial release, low level laser therapy and tailored home exercises she quickly got my frozen shoulder moving. When I temporarily relocated to North Carolina she took the time to research and recommend physical therapists in that area so I could continue my treatment

These guys are the real deal. I've had mobility issues in my upper back, hips, and shoulders for years, and figured they were something I'd always just sort of manage - but Spring Forward has changed all that. I've worked with Lynn Berman and Jessica Stein over the past few years, and the experience is such a vast improvement over your average physical therapy office that it's hard to even compare. Everyone in this office has a deep understanding of the way the body works, and their combination of body-work and instruction is actually moving the needle on my issues and pointing

I highly recommend Spring Forward PT! I suffered an ankle sprain in June of this year, and Danielle helped me recovery quickly and effectively. As a competitive ultimate player, I was looking to get back to playing as soon as I can, and Danielle really helped me achieve that goal and get me back on the field.
I enjoyed the 1 on 1 PT sessions, which were much better than previous experiences at other PT places, where I was handed up to a group of trainers for exercises. Instead, I received individualized treatment and exercise programs, and the full session was with one physical therapist.

Lynn is a magician! He is professional, personable and without a doubt the best PT I've ever been too. I saw someone else for three months and saw no progress and in one session with Lynn I immediately noticed a change. The offices are both beautiful and clean and booking is seamless. Any issue big or small, Lynn will fix it.

I highly recommend Spring Forward for true PT, individual attention, a plan that changes as you progress and addresses issues that come up in between sessions. I was treated for a rotator cuff tear. My doctor was sure that with PT I could avoid surgery. And we DID IT! In addition to my sessions, I was given exercises to do at home. Easy to follow instructions and the exercises changed with my progress. My therapist, Danielle, was friendly, knowledgeable and caring. She reached out to find out how I've been after the end of my treatments and to let me know that she's available to answer

Lynn is the absolute best PT and has recruited a world class team. I have been seeing him for a variety of issues for the better part of 10 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I went to Spring Therapy earlier this year because of constant pain/discomfort in my neck and shoulder. I've had this for years mainly due to poor posture and sleep patterns. I started working with Danielle and was so impressed with how knowledgeable and skillful she is. She knew exactly the right areas to target to provide relief. The regular sessions helped tremendously and she also developed a home exercise program for me which reinforced what she was doing and has led to better posture habits. Danielle is sweet and so talented, the location is clean and bright, and I love that they

I have been going here for PT for over a year now and I have to say, they are as good as it gets! Lynn has worked wonders on my back and has helped take me from completely debilitated to fully functioning! He saved my life! I also saw Danielle for my ankle and she was amazing as well. Their office staff is top notch as well. I would highly recommend Spring Forward to anyone who has unresolved physical pain because these guys will go above and beyond. My experience with Mary Jean Stack & all of the staff at Spring Forward Physical Therapy was exceptional. I am very careful with any critique, expect the highest standards in customer service and only recommend the best-of-the-best. Following my first visit for PT, I changed insurance and SF was not covered. However, I felt the expense was well worth the investment for the high-quality physical care and empathy for long-term and short-term recovery from physical injury. The facilities are on par with any 5-star health spa and you leave each session feeling renewed and whole.

Simply amazing! You will not meet anyone that offers this level of attention and support.
I came in around late June 2013 as a referral from a client who could not stop talking about Lynn.
I was on crutches with post op knee surgery (tibial Plateau fracture with some hardware installed) and I'm currently fully weight bearing and walking unassisted with a slight limp, which is entirely my fault as a result of not doing the exercises Lynn recommended. I lied and told him I was doing them but I rarely did them. But we are currently working on extension and I'm confident I'll be playing
