Eileen earned her Master's Degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from the American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) in Houston. Prior to studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, Eileen worked over 15 years in western research and has a Ph. D. in Neuroscience. Eileen believes that the body has the innate capacity to heal itself and that acupuncture and herbal medicine are effective tools to help restore health and well-being.
Eileen offers acupuncture for a variety of conditions such as pain, women's health, cancer support, post stroke treatment, digestive disorders, stress management and cosmetic acupuncture. Several thousand years ago, East Asian practitioners discovered that the body forms disharmonies as a result of the various physical and mental stresses of life. Oriental medical theory explains these disharmonies as an imbalance of opposing forces called yin and yang.
