Eye Exams
Our comprehensive eye exams assess vision health and detect ocular diseases early. Using advanced diagnostic tools, we evaluate refractive errors, eye coordination, and overall eye health. These exams are essential for updating prescriptions and identifying conditions like glaucoma or macular degeneration. We cater to all ages, ensuring personalized care and accurate diagnoses for long-term vision wellness.
Contact Lens Exams
Contact lens exams determine the best corrective options for your lifestyle and eye health. We conduct specialized tests to measure corneal curvature and tear production, ensuring comfortable and safe lens wear. Our experts guide you through choices like daily disposables, toric lenses for astigmatism, or multifocal contacts, prioritizing clarity and eye health.
Cataract Diagnosis
We diagnose cataracts through detailed evaluations of lens opacity and visual acuity. Our process includes symptom assessments, pupil dilation, and contrast sensitivity tests. Early detection allows us to monitor progression and coordinate surgical referrals when necessary, ensuring timely intervention to restore clear vision and improve quality of life.
Glaucoma Exams
Glaucoma exams measure intraocular pressure and optic nerve health to detect this silent disease. Using tonometry and retinal imaging, we assess risk factors and screen for early signs. Timely diagnosis enables us to recommend treatments that slow progression, preserving vision and preventing irreversible damage.
LASIK Surgery
We provide pre- and post-operative LASIK care to ensure safe and effective vision correction. Our evaluations determine candidacy through corneal mapping and refractive error assessments. Collaborating with surgical centers, we guide patients through recovery, monitoring outcomes to achieve optimal clarity and reduce dependency on glasses or contacts.

I highly recommend this office for your eye care needs. I went here this morning, after realizing I had a potential corneal ulcer. I've gotten them in the past, and know how important it is to get them treated immediately. Problem was, I just moved to the area from out of state and did not have an eye doctor yet! Luckily, this was the second place I called- I knew from how friendly and professional they were on the phone, that this was the right place to go. They were able to squeeze me in with barely any notice for an appointment that same day. The receptionist was very friendly and reassuring

My son and I are very happy with the positive experience we encounter every time we enter Wilkens Family Eye Care. Everyone is knowledgeable and each person takes the time to answer questions in person and even does a great job via email afterwards. I would highly recommend this facility for all your eye care needs and have high confidence in the doctors here.

I was very impressed with the time Dr. Wilken took to answer all my questions and give a thorough and detailed examination of my eyes. I'm starting to wear contacts again now after mostly wearing glasses for the past year because Dr. Wilken helped me realize that the previous brand of specialty contacts I had been wearing wasn't appropriate for my astigmatism level. I've never had such a pleasant and informative experience at an optometrist and I'm happy that my office is so close to this location, as I will definitely be returning.
