Since we first opened in 1978, Anchorage by the Sea has been a devoted family-run organization. To us, it seems like just yesterday that the blizzard of 1978 posed a major challenge for us as we built our first phase of the Inn. Yet, despite the snowy weather, we were able to complete the project and throughout the next few years, expand and renovate the remaining property.

The Towers

The Towers building at Anchorage by the Sea resort is a three-story building with an elevator, located on the opposite side of Shore Road from the ocean. Tastefully decorated and newly renovated, The Towers offers views of the neighboring Ogunquit village streets and pristine landscaping. The upper front rooms may have some distant ocean views on the second and third floors.
The Lightship

The Lightship is a two-story building with an elevator, located on the opposite side of Shore Road from the ocean. Tastefully decorated, these rooms are slightly larger than our standard rooms. These rooms come accommodated with upscale decor, residential non-ocean views, and King beds. Some rooms have gas fireplaces and sitting areas.
