Every teacher throughout our program is passionate about Early Childhood Education. Our teachers build their own curriculum based on the needs and interests of their class and each individual child. Our classroom environment utilizes materials that stimulate learning through intentional play and discovery.
Future Families

We participate in the Washington's Quality Rating and Improvement System program called Early Achievers. Early Achievers helps us make continuous improvements throughout our program while collaborating with other Washington State early childhood facilities and professionals. We were one of the few childcare centers in our area rated highly at a level 4 out of 5.
Curriculum

Journey's philosophy is to focus on learning through exploration and student initiated curriculum. We are committed to provide a positive and enriching environment for every child. In our Nursery, we provide our infants with learning opportunities to help them achieve their individual milestones. We intentionally design the environment to provide endless learning opportunities through exploration and play.
Sick Child Policy

At Journey, we do all we can to prevent illness and germs from spreading. We utilize air filtration, a center wide cleaning service and a complete toy sanitation daily to minimize bacteria and viruses. If your child displays any symptoms of illness, it is best to keep them home during the most contagious times (the first 24-48 hours).

We are not only passionate about bettering the Early Childhood Education field, but we strive to provide a positive and bettering work place for all Early Childhood Professionals. We create strong relationships in our community and participate in many Early Childhood advancement opportunities to provide career advancement for our teachers.
