Motel
Report
The most recent addition to The Casselman is The Casselman Motel, a 40 room hotel/motel located just behind and to the left (west) of the restaurant. In keeping with the original Historic Inn and Casselman Restaurant, some furniture was hand-crafted by local members of the community and the Miller family, contributing to a relaxed home-like feeling.
Historic Inn
Report
The Casselman Inn was built in the 1840's by Solomon Sterner to serve travelers on the National Road. Each room in the original three-story Federal brick house contained a fireplace, the only source of heat for warmth and cooking. The bricks were handmade on the land nearby, and much of the woodwork is hand-hewn timbers and hand-planed boards.
