Jung Do is our school motto; which means correctness of action. The literal translation would be "Jung"meaning Right and "Do" meaning "Way" Although we recognize that there is more than one way to do the right thing; there is only one way to do what is RIGHT. IGNITE Martial Arts is more than just a martial arts academy; we inspire and teach our students to do everything the JUNG DO way.
We honor the traditional Tae Kwon Do five Tenants of Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit; and instill a strong Love of Health, Faith, Generosity, Humility, Loyalty and Family. Sean Cumberbatch was born in Brooklyn, NY and has lived all his adult life in Florida. He has practiced Martial Arts for over 30 years. In 2004 he acquired Martial Arts of Metro West, since then he has been leading an extraordinary group of children and adults into improving themselves and changing their lives for the better.

The term Kibon Hana means "basic #1" - hana is the Korean term for the number 1 in the traditional Korean numbering system. Kibon Hana is a basic form (poomsae) often taught to introductory students at some Taekwondo schools, especially in Kukkiwon/WTF-style Taekwondo. Keun meaning heaven: the spirit of solid foundation.

The word Kukkiwon refers to the home of taekwondo in Seoul, South Korea. It is where the heart of taekwondo beats. The kukkiwon is a government-sponsored national academy for taekwondo. Both the building itself and the organization therein are colloquially referred to as the kukkiwon. The kukkiwon is the official governing body established by the south korean government for taekwondo.
