Fitness First
At Fitness First, we have a very comprehensive approach to personal training. Rather than a one-size-fits-all mindset, we take the time to learn about you - your long- and short-term goals as well as your current fitness, health, and nutritional habits.

While running on the treadmill, working out on the elliptical machine, and lifting weights are all excellent forms of exercise, it is always a good idea to change up your workout routine by taking a class. When your body gets used to an exercise, your muscles are no longer being challenged.

About
Report
Fitness First is locally owned and operated. The owners, Kris and Jennifer Breiner, grew up here in Calistoga. They were able to achieve their dream and open the first full service fitness Center Calistoga ever had in January of 2004. At Fitness First, you're not just a member; you are family. We believe we achieve our goals when you achieve your goals.
Testimonials

Great place to workout with your friends. Jennifer and Kris are excellent trainers who have helped and encouraged me to lose 60 lbs this past year. The gym is open 24 hours and you can work out on your own or attend group classes. The classes have been great for me as they make me work harder than on my own plus I work out with a great group of friends.

Yes, we offer separate changing/storage rooms for men and women, free of charge. Fitness First is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We highly recommend that you bring your own padlock and lock up your personal belongings prior to your workout. Bringing your gym bag into the fitness center is highly discouraged.
Training & Classes
Report
Are you intimidated by the idea of joining a gym? If so, you are not alone. The gym experience can be overwhelming. It can be as confusing as a calculus equation or as frightening as a medieval torture chamber. If you're a gym novice, you will need guidance and someone to answer all your questions.

When your body gets used to an exercise, your muscles are no longer being challenged. Variety in your workout routine will keep your body guessing, resulting in a more successful workout.
