NeuroVisual Examination
Our comprehensive NeuroVisual Examination diagnoses binocular vision dysfunction through advanced diagnostic techniques. This specialized assessment identifies micro misalignments in eye muscles that cause symptoms like headaches, dizziness, and reading difficulties. Using proprietary screening methods developed by Dr. Debby Feinberg, we create customized treatment plans utilizing micro-prism lenses for immediate symptom relief. Patients typically experience 50% improvement during their first visit through our precise diagnostic process.
Myopia Management
Our progressive myopia management program targets childhood nearsightedness progression through evidence-based interventions. Utilizing orthokeratology and custom contact lenses, we help slow axial elongation of the eye to prevent severe myopia complications. This treatment combines environmental modification strategies with medical devices to preserve visual acuity and reduce long-term risks like retinal detachment and glaucoma through regular monitoring and adjustment.
Orthokeratology
Ortho-K treatment employs specially designed retainer lenses worn overnight to gently reshape the cornea. This non-surgical approach provides clear daytime vision without corrective eyewear while effectively managing myopia progression in children. Our practitioners have extensive experience fitting these gas permeable lenses, with follow-up protocols ensuring optimal corneal reshaping and visual outcomes through regular topography mapping and refraction testing.
Dry Eye Treatment
Comprehensive dry eye management includes diagnostic testing to identify underlying causes of tear film instability. We offer customized treatment plans incorporating artificial tears, prescription medications, and specialty contact lenses. Advanced interventions like punctal plugs and anti-inflammatory therapies address meibomian gland dysfunction and aqueous deficiency through step-wise protocols tailored to each patient's ocular surface disease severity.
Comprehensive Eye Exam
Our full-spectrum eye exams combine traditional vision testing with advanced diagnostics for early disease detection. Using digital retinal imaging and optical coherence tomography, we assess ocular health alongside refraction needs. This includes evaluating for glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy while providing contact lens fittings and pre/post-operative surgical co-management through close collaboration with ophthalmology specialists.

Federal Hill Eye Care is one of the best eye doctors I've been to! As a person who has been in glasses/contacts since for almost 20 years, I have seen numerous eye doctors over the years and believe that Dr. Klasman and Dr. Solomon are top notch doctors. Their office staff has impeccable customer service and their doctors have been very attentive when issues occurred and are very thorough in their examinations to make sure you are taken care of. I'd highly recommend them.

Just had one of the most pleasant experiences. I was visiting Baltimore from New York, and on my way to Baltimore I realized that I forgot my contacts at home! When I got to Baltimore, looked for a local optometrist that I could purchase contacts from. After calling around, most places couldn't get any orders in in time to give me lenses for same day. Feeling rather defeated, I called Federal Hill Eye Care where the receptionist was so eager to help. They ended up giving me enough contacts for my entire trip, and didn't even charge me for the lenses! For any locals looking for a local optometrist

I got contacts for the first time here and have been going for a couple years now. Had my annual exam there today and Dr. Scott Klasman tweaked my prescription a bit to be even better for me. Dr. Klasman is very friendly, thoughtful, and professional. They also have good covid precautions and procedures in place.
