I was not expecting to find such a hidden gem when I was visiting this area. My hometown is Sichuan, China, I could say that the food here is very authentic. It is not those typical American Chinese food, but the ones you will find on a common Chinese family dining table. I also could feel that the chef is putting a lot effort and love in the food and try to perfect all aspects.
It is truly not only just a dish, but more like art. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting this area. The food was fresh and so delicious, and looked exactly as it does in the photos. I will definitely order again and recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Asian cuisine.

Our food embraces local produce, pairing the flavors of Artist/Chef's Cai's childhood with fresh food from Vermont farms. The kitchen is our studio! Ingredients are the mediums to create ARTasFOODasART that is abundant, nourishing and feels like home. We are a family business which started as a booth at the Brattleboro farmers market in 2006.
