She is the first dentist in her family, coming from a long history of farmers who cultivated rice in Kalihiwai Valley on the northshore of Kaua'i. She completed a dual degree program and also obtained her Master's in Public Health in 2012, where she was ranked number one. In 2013, she was inducted into the prestigious Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Dr. Goo was drawn to dentistry for the positive impact she could have on patients by educating them about their oral health, soothing their dental fears, and bringing joy and confidence to their lives by improving their dental conditions.
