The setting of our homelike school gives the child the opportunity to progress at their own pace of learning. The classroom learning materials are placed on open shelves for selection as interest and readiness that inspires the child. Our outdoor environment offers a beautiful developed playground with climbing structures, sand play, water play, painting, tricycles, and gardens. The Montessori curriculum is the base of our studies, covering the educational needs of Preschool & Kindergarten children ages 18 months to 4 years.

A-List Montessori is located in Culver City that provides a safe and peaceful learning environment for our preschoolers. Our intimate school also gives the child the necessary tools to develop and grow in their academics. The Montessori classroom provides a prepared environment in which the child can choose their desired learning materials.
Montessori VS Traditional Preschool

Organized program for learning care of self and environmentserving self food, wiping a table. Child can work where they chose, move around and talk at will (yet not disturb work of others); group work is voluntary. Organized programs for parents to understand the Montessori philosophy and participate in the learning process.
Acclimation Program
Report
We highly recommend for all new applicants to attend a least one session of the A-List "Acclimation Program". The A-List "Acclimation Program" is once a week for 4 weeks. The hour and a half classes are designed to introduce toddlers and their parents to the Montessori environment. Participating in this program can help ease the transition into our regular preschool program.

Report
Birthday Parties can be celebrated at the school by providing lunch at 11:30 a.m. or snack at 2:30 p.m. Parents need to provide all supplies for the celebration. If lunch is part of the celebration, parents need to post a notice on our bulletin board the day before so children will not bring lunch that day.
