Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Gary Selmonsky, DVM; who is a licensed, experienced Islip veterinarian. Islip Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital, proudly a member of the American Animal Hospital Association.

Dr. Amanda Maltese earned her Bachelor's degree, with high distinctions, from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. At WPI, she did research in neuro-endocrinology, studied abroad, volunteered at the Franklin Park Zoo, and worked at a cat and bird clinic. Dr. Maltese went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University.
