Athletic Edge Sports & Fitness Center was founded to promote a long-term, healthy lifestyle for the people of Eastern North Carolina and specifically to offer the youth of the local area access to advanced training in their chosen sport.

Athletic Edge is one of the best gyms my husband and I have joined! The staff are extremely nice and helpful, the classes are awesome and different (especially cycling infusion) the gym and showers are always clean and well kept, there are a ton of possibilities to change your workout up with the various rooms and equipment.
Barre Intensity

A rigorous workout that blends elements from different exercise styles including ballet, Pilates, yoga, and functional fitness training. We incorporate small isolated movements to fatigue the muscles, large range motion to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporates the upper and lower body to make every minute count.
Body Sculpt

Body sculpting (or core conditioning) is a non-aerobic, muscle-toning class, usually focused on core strength. Our sculpting classes use weight bars, exercise bands, or dumbbells, or a combination of these gadgets. You perform traditional weight-training moves in a class setting. Core conditioning is performed in a non-aerobic, muscle-toning workout session; works all muscle groups with a variety of strengthening and conditioning exercises.
Boot Camp

A whole body, HIIT style (High Intensity Interval Training) exercise program that can be modified for the earliest beginner to the most advanced athletes. This class is a total body challenge designed to combine resistance training and cardio that targets strength building, agility, and muscular endurance through various stations.
