Every day, our cleaning personnel disinfect and clean the entire facility, and the cleaning takes about four hours. We use a hospital grade antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial solution that is sprayed, scrubbed into, and then vacuumed from the mats by a multi-thousand dollar machine. Classes are ON.

I've been coming to Plus One in West Hartford about a year and a half, and I've lost over 50 pounds doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. My whole family trains here. I love Jiu-Jitsu!
Capoiera

This is a Brazilian style with African roots that utilizes a lot of ground maneuvers, aerial work, and dance type motions. It is a martial art that utilizes dance and acrobatics as its medium. The system is absolutely beautiful. It is worthy to note that we have a lot of people inquire about Capoeira and say, "It looks beautiful, but I can't do that."
Karate/Kenpo

You'll learn to defend yourself using combinations of blocks and counter-strikes with a goal of ending any conflict as quickly as possible. In addition, we believe in character development as part of your path to being a great karateka. We offer karate classes for kids and karate classes for adults at our West Hartford location.
