Here is my recommended strategy to help you pay down your credit cards faster by minimizing the interest charged. This is something that I did several years ago so I can speak from experience that it works! You can apply for and utilize the Low Rate Mastercard through Northrop Grumman.

The credit score minimums vary from program to program and one thing all programs have in common, a better credit score gives you a better rate and higher likelihood to be approved.
FICO vs. Credit Karma and Others

Score = the number expressed to assign a value to your credit quality. Ranges between 300-850. Report = the information reported to the 3 credit bureaus used to determine your credit score. You can receive a credit report without receiving a credit score. FICO, Credit Karma, Credit Sesame, etc, are all different sources to obtain your credit score.
