Ty was born and raised in Brevard County, Florida. He graduated from Merritt Island High School and received an Associates of Arts degree from Brevard Community College. He received his Bachelors degree in Communications from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Ty started his insurance career immediately after graduating from North Florida.
