I love NP Thyroid. I've used this product for over 15 years, and it's the only thyroid med that doesn't mess with my heart rate and digestion. I am able to maintain a normal state and appreciate the more natural option for thyroid balancing. Everyone's body is different but I highly recommend NP!

Third recall in less than a year and after multiple calls and emails being told one story after the other Im now told they cant do anything about replacing the defective medication I have. First it was that they would send out replacement medications, then it was that my pharmacy would replace it, then they said they would talk to my pharmacist and insurance, then they say their policy is not to replace but to refund the cost. The cost to me for the medications was zero at the time, if you dont count the cost I incurred to have health insurance to have it covered. Now my copay

Two recalls within 5 months. I forgave the first. Now, I am three months into my bottle of NP Thyroid and it is recalled again! I've been feeling all the symptoms of low thyroid, no wonder! And Acella's solution is for us to call and sit on hold for hours to verify we got a bad batch (which is listed by the FDA and yes, listed on my bottle, so yes, I got the bad batch). Terrible customer service.

I got terribly sick from NP Thyroid and was quickly put on a different NDT hormone by my doctor. Then, two pharmacies called about the recalled NP Thyroid. I realized that the 30 mg NP Thyroid was the recalled medication I had taken. I threw them out. Later, I found out that the company is required to reimburse patients for recalled meds, but they will not do it unless you can return the medication. I would not recommend this company.

I was taking NP Thyroid 30 MG for about a year and after taking the med first thing in the morning, I started getting dizzy! My day was ruined for months because the med made me so dizzy! I finally went to my Dr. and she said to stop taking it! Now I am not on any thyroid med. Hope I can survive without a thyroid med!

I received a call from my local pharmacy yesterday stating that my NP thyroid medication may be recalled and was given a number to call Acella Pharmaceuticals. I called that afternoon and got an automated machine message stating high call volumes and to call back another time. Now calling today and still no one answers, it doesn't give an estimated wait time. I called another number and when I finally got a rep on the phone after lying about which medication I was calling about I was redirected to the dead end phone extension.
