We specialize in natural, documentary-style wedding and lifestyle photography and simple, modern album design. We love working with down-to-earth couples who share our passions: food, travel, art, design, the outdoors, mountain biking, and DIY. I was born and raised in Japan. After I graduated from high school, I was looking for something fun and meaningful to do.

Although we specialize in candid photography, we should also mention that Kyo very occasionally offers a little direction to help capture some artistic shots. If possible, he likes to have at least 20 minutes alone with you (the bride and groom) shortly after the ceremony. The rest of the wedding day will be such a whirlwind, it's always wonderful to have pictures of just the two of you sharing a short, peaceful interlude.

Kyo is Japanese and grew up outside Osaka, while Janna is American but spent part of her childhood in Europe. So we love working with couples who come from different cultures and we are very comfortable working in diverse settings and with a wide range of people. It's probably no surprise, then, that we love working with people who are planning a destination wedding.
