I believe my perspective as a designer and artist, adds a creative dimension to the often technical challenges faced by professional photographers. After graduating from the Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia, PA I worked initially as a commercial artist and illustrator, and then as a partner in Walker & Naylor, Inc., which was one of the first companies in the region to adapt computer technology to the graphic arts.
From there we became Naylor DeDonato & Wolf. Along the way I developed an interest and later a passion for photography. In 2006 I went back out on my own as Dan Naylor Photography. Although based in the Philadelphia area, my assignments take me throughout the United States and Canada. A project is quoted based on a per day, or half day rate plus the number of final shots to be delivered.

With a background in illustration and photo retouching before the computer age, I have the ability to remove, signs, trucks, wires and other distractions in post production. When photographing people, expression is everything and having the ability to bring out a great expression from a person, is part of the art. Like the products we sell, our head-shots are on our websites, business cards, Linkedin, Facebook and so on. My goal is to make an individual look as good as possible, from touching up minor blemishes, to fixing their teeth a month before the dentist does the real work.
