Yarbrough is the absolute greatest! Although most of his clients are far younger than I am, he makes having braces for the second time around so much fun (if that's even possible). Don't hesitate to choose him as your Orthodontist! I heard about FIRST IMPRESSIONS from a friend who had the braces done here.
Braces and Common Questions
Report
Can I still eat regular foods? No. Avoid sticky and chewy foods (such as; gum, caramel, taffy, ect.) because they will pull seps out. What should I do if the Separators come out? We give each patient a separator kit, which consist of two pieces of floss, and blue rubber bands. How does the Sep Kit work?
Brushing & Flossing Braces

A Proxy Brush (small wire circular brush) may be helpful in cleaning under the wire and between the teeth. Remember to clean the tooth all the way under the gums. To learn more about the treatments and procedures we specialize in, we invite you schedule a Complimentary Smile Consultation.

Appliance Care
Report
All orthodontic patients should have their teeth cleaned and checked by their general dentist regularly. We suggest that every patient schedule their visits on a 3-6 month basis to help prevent gum problems and decalcification (white spots) on their teeth. The retention (retainer) phase of your treatment is just as important as the active phase of treatment.
