So, why do I do what I do? I love what I do and I never. When I was younger, I didn't really think that I was going to become a dentist. I never really aspired to that. In fact, I went off to undergraduate and studied engineering. And I was in the computer consulting world for several years but never felt totally fulfilled and wanted to help people more, in a more tangible way.

Dr. Wayne King is a leading endodontist in our area and the only endodontist in Hillsborough. He brings more than two decades of dental experience with him to Carolina Bright Smiles and is our resident root canal specialist. After completing a Bachelor of Science at Lenoir Rhyne College, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.
