Born and raised in North Carolina. I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and then decided to pursue a career in the dental field. I graduated from Guilford Technical Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I'm proud to say that I am a North Carolina native, raised in Durham, NC.

He is an honors graduate of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, a Magna Cum Laude graduate of NC State University with B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Biotechnology, and a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.Dr. Furgurson is a dedicated student of the profession and completes hundreds of hours of continuing education each year.
