It was the perfect venue to celebrate my sister in law's birthday. With a party of 11, things can get rowdy and chaotic. Luckily we're pretty easy to handle and we had a great waitress.
She was very attentive and made sure every single one of us were catered to. We didn't even have to keep asking for things as she was really on top of it.
We had the calamri for our app and it's always good. For dinner we all had a variety. Fom the 3 kinds of pasta that they offered. Seafood, Dungeness and shrimp and shrimp. The seafood one is the best of the 3.
Most of the party ordered the wagyu steak. Heard

Great place! The view is incredible and the food is very good. We were there for brunch. They have a few yummy cocktails to choose from and the meal choices are fun too. They served a basket of blueberry coffee cake for our table. Our meals were all very good and the service was on point. Our waitress was kind and attentive and got our whole order correct.

The view was nice. Service was fast and food was quality. I wish they had more of a selection and a better bartender. The beer on the other hand was local and very good. Unfortunately, are waiter wasn't very knowledgeable about where it's made, but she did a great job of finding someone who did. We will be back. It was a lot of people and the staff did great handling everyone in a manner that was safe, effective, and professional.

So this is a review in two parts. First, the food was fantastic! Second, the reservation process was a mess.
I had one of my all-time favorite scallop meals and my husband (not a seafood fan) had an incredible steak.
We made a reservation and then were seated about 30 minutes following our reservation time. This logistical issue did dampen the experience. I assume the issues comes from staffing shortages which I understand. I hope improvements can be made.

Views from their patio are spectacular! Point Defiance is worth the visit and Anthony's a definite destination for a good meal. Family friendly and good for little ones to watch the ferry.
I had a simple Caesar salad topped with Oregon Shrimp. Salad was good but shrimp were mushy and tasteless. My companion had the Salmon Bowl with ponzu sauce and loved it!

Wow, the quality of this restaurant has gone down since last year. The wait staff have no personality. They take your order, and they don't give a damn after that. My wife tipped the dead fish that was our waiter $20.00, which I thought was ridiculous. I told him it was my birthday, and he just nodded his dumb head.
I ordered the jumbo prawns, which was a jumbo joke, because there were six regular sized shrimp that were butterflied laying in a pool of butter. There was an ice cream scoop of crappy white rice, and six green beans for sides. SUPER disappointed. Anthony's really sucks

This was my first time at this location and it was seriously disappointing. The food was extremely bland and just not good. I ordered the bbq shrimp as an appetizer and it was oily and the shrimp were basically rubbed. We ordered the blackened rockfish which was over cooked so all I could taste was the major amount of seasoning poured over the top. The green beans tasted like dirt and the rice was hard and boring. Also ordered the salmon fettuccine and it only tasted of heavy cream and fish. The view is nice but their outdoor seating area is dirty and plain. Check out Ruston way for better water

Came here as we were visiting my girlfriend's family and they wanted to have a nice, outdoor lunch on the waterfront.
Ordered three things: (1) Caesar salad with shrimp, (2) cup of clam chowder, and (3) halibut fish and chips. Caesar salad was super fresh and came with a decent amount of shrimp and a lot of salad. Clam chowder was not quite Pike Place Chowder-level, but it was pretty damn good. Halibut fish and chips were a bit smaller than I expected, but the batter was light and the fish was fresh as well. Overall, the food here was solid.
Service was solid, no complaints here. There

Location...location...location. Waterfront dining, fresh seafood, at a reasonable price. Anthony's is a northwest chain and they all have amazing waterfront locations. With their buying power they are able to get fresh seafood for less and pass the savings on to their customers. We love the chowder and the menu is always updated with what is in season. Had the Copper River Salmon (was still in season!) And it was amazing.

Second visit here not okay.
First, I'll take the fall for failing to check their hours, but not open until 1pm on a Saturday really?
We waited in line outside with about a dozen other's for a 1/2 hour. When the doors were opened we were greeted by two surly receptionists. Not a great beginning for a late lunch. We might have been a bit hungry but we were not hangry.
At our request we were seated outside on the deck and thing's started clicking as they should. The waitperson didn't complain about four separate checks (not my idea I know better) for a party of eight. Adult

The service was outstanding. Melissa waited on our table of four and was engaging, attentive (but not overly so, which makes you feel rushed) and very professional.
We had a table with an unobstructed view of Puget Sound. Outstanding.
I've had been an annual patron when in Tacoma, about twice a year. My only complaint was the clam chowder. It was watery, having almost no clams or potatoes. Very bland. This is NOT the clam chowder of the recent past, and I am very hesitant to order it again. Spoiled my appetite for going to Anthony's again.

Surprised we haven't been here yet as we frequent waterfront restaurants in the Pacific Northwest.
Customer service was very friendly and efficient despite these ridiculous pandemic times.
I thoroughly enjoyed their Calamari, Caesar Salad and Clam Chowder.
Had some of my husband's Cod as well which was delicious.
Only thing that was a bummer was having to ask for a new mug for my hot water and lemon due to dirty lipstick on it.

Wow. So I don't know how to review this place. I called in my order. I arrived and they were packed. You wouldn't know there was social distancing except for the staff wearing masks and gloves.
I had to wait around while they answered phone calls. My food was on the counter the whole time getting cold.
I'm happy I thought to check the bag before I went to the car because they didn't give me part of the meal. Thankfully they didn't give me a hard time about adding what was missed.
The food itself was wonderful. That's what makes the review hard. I loved the food

Very disappointed ! We love Anthony’s and we wanted to support the Food Truck during these times and ordered Five Hours in advance online paid, when my husband got there , he was told they ran out of food!!!… And wrote down to refund my husband! We saw people picking their order! Got there after us! That is not very good customer service! If you know the order in advance!! This is very disappointing !
