Alec began his career in real estate finance in 1997, working as a loan officer for a small lender in Jacksonville. He soon headed a branch of a lender and by 2003 founded Oak Street Financial, Inc. with a lenders license and a license to make FHA and VA loans. With 23 years of experience he was able to keep his brokerage firm healthy through the economic downturn of 2008 and subsequent years.
