Acupuncture In Motion
At AIM, we strive to utilize our training and skill set in acupuncture and herbal medicine to facilitate a more expansive and safer space for all community members who enter our door to be empowered in their healing process. We are a Black-led, owner-operated community business located in the historic Belmont neighborhood of West Philadelphia.

We work towards addressing gaps in the healthcare system - especially those affecting BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of color) communities - with values rooted in equity, self-determination, and love.

Herbal Medicine
Report
Our scope of practice includes Eastern Traditional Medical diagnosis and treatment. As we do in acupuncture, in Chinese herbology, we use our training in meridian theory and Western biomedicine to treat patterns of disharmony and to help manage symptoms associated with modern medical conditions.

Our goal is to prescribe formulas with herbs that work together synergistically to help restore balance and to strengthen the body by removing blockages and encouraging improved blood flow and overall functionality. This is often a process that takes some time. We recommend starting with at least 4-6 weeks of treatment.
