The Alabama State Board of Pharmacy was established by legislative action in 1887 with the intent that the composition of the board reflects the demographics of the pharmacy profession. When applying for your intern/extern license, you will be required to upload your driver's license, birth certificate (or passport if not born in the US), and verification of your pharmacy school enrollment. There is no cost for an intern/extern license. Once we receive your application, if all documents are submitted, we will then email you your intern/extern license, which will expire 6 months after your graduation date.
