Sweet Smiling Landscapes specializes in low water, California friendly plant designs and edible/productive landscaping. I find inspiration in many architectural styles, from high modern to country cottage design and everything in between. But regardless of the style of garden I am designing, I see plantings as more than a purely aesthetic decision.
Teaching
Report
As I am passionate about design and ecology, I love sharing my knowledge with others. I currently teach landscape drafting for Santa Barbara City College and I teach drought tolerant landscape design for water districts thought Southern California. Informing people and sparking their interest in landscape is a joy to me, and I am available for workshops, public speaking, and writing projects.
