I am in my mid 60s and recently developed a pain in my lower back that progressed to the point that, at times, I could barely move. My brother recommended Physical Therapy Specialist. My specialist Jon Rothfarb diagnosed the problem as starting in my feet and manifesting itself in my lower back. It was coming from walking, I walk a lot. It is the source of the physical, mental and spiritual health for myself and my dogs. Walking is who I am. Jon said Okay, lets get you walking again. It didnt happen overnight but in relatively short order I am able to walk as much as I like!

Dave is hands down (no pun intended) one of the best Physical Therapists on the east coast. This guy has great hands and good bedside manner as well (which is hard to find around here). I've seen him for my lower back and my neck, both of which he was able to fix within 2 sessions. I can't say enough good words about him.

The service I received regarding PT interventions was outstanding. However, the billing circumstances were completely unethical. I decided to go to this office specifically because they were in my Insurance Network. The owner began providing me service, but transferred my case to his new employee. The new employee was not in network. So suddenly I was billed with a $200 co-pay!! I paid a portion before I figured out what happened. The practice was not responsive to my requests to return my money and drop remaining bill. I have had to work with the CT Health Care Advocate to resolve things.
