This place changed my thoughts on working out. I never wanted to, and felt intimidated by everyone pressing so much weight, but with Amber and Connor, they focused on technical first, which led to weight.
The classes are fun, and push you, and hear people fear crossfit, when I look forward to it. It is a family feel here.
Thank you for your all your help and support, and now feel I can take on any challenge. Well almost any challenge lol

I found Amber on FB offering a 6 week challenge for over 50 year olds. Amber had early classes which is exactly what I needed. 8 weeks later I love her routines and I have kept off a steady 25lbs. 1 downsize to Amber and her training techniques is you will need to purchase a new wardrobe . She has lots of nutritional suggestions that helped me even more.
I keep going back because I could see the results from all training and my hard work. I kept telling myself It won't work if you don't go. I made the commitment. I went and I am so glad I did. Everyone in the classes had the same

I got a lot of Amber's six-week challenge: great nutritional advice, meal planning, ongoing support and adaptation, and TONS of encouragement. I went for the nutritional support, but also thrived in the workout classes. Although I'm athletic, I had never systematically lifted weights before. I learned a lot and got demonstrably stronger. The challenge--and the whole Holistix experience--is great.
I signed up for the Challenge because the timing coincided with my schedule for radiation therapy to treat breast cancer. Amber was receptive to my needs to adapt both nutrition and exercise

I started training with Amber after having my second child at the recommendation of a good friend. I was desperate to get back into shape after 2+ years without much physical activity. She eased me back into a sustainable fitness routine, takes her time with each session, and even coaches me with nutrition and diet advice. It was the mom-makeover I desperately needed and I have her to thank for guiding me to a healthy balance with work, gym and kids.

In June of 2017, I finally decided to hire Amber as my personal trainer. She was highly recommended by my niece who attends this gym on a regular basis. I am the opposite of my niece. I am not a gym goer, at all.
My work requires me to sit at a desk all day long with occassional breaks.
Even though, I understand the concept of getting fit and being active, my undisciplined habits would always get in the way. I kept working and sitting at my desk until I notice the unexplainable aches and pain on mostly my knees. Suddenly, I feel limited motions due to my knees pain. I feel that getting older

I've been working with Amber since Oct 2017 and this is my second challenge in a row. This class is for beginners and over 50. I can honestly say, when i first started I was out of shape and now I'm stronger and limber and lost inches.. Amber started me on the Paleo diet. I've changed my diet and eat better, I've lost a dress size since I first started. If you want to be in shape and meet your goals you will push yourself, This class is a high intensity workout and you will get sore, it's a good sore. I have a hip problem which has caused me weight gain over the years

Do not sign up for the 6 week challenge that is advertised, if you are out of shape, older or not used to working out. It is not for beginners or out of shape seniors (as advertised)! I'am an out of shape senior and $350.00 is pricey for 2 lessons! There are no refunds, not even partial. I learned an expensive lesson, PLEASE, don't believe the salesman that is selling the challenge.

6 months ago I was in need of a new routine. Changing gyms can be intimidating, so I was pleasantly surprised at what you will find at Holistix and more importantly with Amber. I attended the small group class and instantly found the program fit what I had been searching for. Amber worked with me on a prior injury (even in a class setting) and was able to easily modify exercises as needed. No one likes getting up early on a Saturday so holding a 10 am class time works great for my schedule, not to mention the social aspect is fun too! Great workouts, dedicated trainer and a fun team keeps me coming

Amber is freakin' awesome! She makes working out fun and super effective. If you're intimidated by big machines or if you're just a bit uncoordinated like I am, don't worry because she explains everything very well and most of the exercises she'll teach you don't require scary machines. I trained with her for six months and had to give half of my jeans away afterwards because they were too small for me. Your butt and thighs WILL grow...in a good way! THANKS FOR THE ROCK-HARD THIGHS AND AWESOME BOOTY AMBER!
