Our courses are designed to stimulate and excite through in depth knowledge of colored gemstones & diamonds. We provide a hands-on learning experience of all facets of gemstones. As a Center for Training and Research, we assist with any gemstone questions from overseas purchases to garage sale, online or TV purchases.

Jewelry Appraisals

A fun, interactive experience where you can watch the process and, if interested, see your gemstone under the microscope. This office is in a secure environment with a bank vault. If you have a large number of items, you may leave the jewelry being appraised & pick up the items when the written appraisal is completed.

To provide "hands-on" practical gemstone experience, leading to greater gem knowledge and retention. Training in use of gemological equipment and gem testing techniques, leading to positive gemstone identifications. To provide in depth gemstone information, resulting in knowledgeable gem purchasing (off street, gem shows, traveling, everyday business).
Laboratory Services

The Laboratory has all of the basic gemological equipment necessary for identifying colored gemstones as well as advanced equipment which aids in more difficult determinations. SSEF Diamond type spotter which aids in detecting some advanced diamond treatments and synthetics. Natural versus treated fancy color diamond detection might require more advanced equipment than this laboratory has available and might need to be sent to GIA.
