Classic Acupuncture

Our goal at Classic Acupuncture is to assist patients in achieving optimal health in a comfortable and professional environment. Healing is collaborative team work. To ensure we fully understand your needs, we perform a thorough examination and we listen carefully to your concerns. We have a holistic view on healing and believe that the best medicine is prevention.

Ingrid Hsu is a licensed acupuncturist in Minnesota. She is nationally certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in acupuncture and Chinese herbology. Her practice is rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which is one of the oldest continuously practiced medical systems for healing in the world.

Acupuncture needles are flexible and hair-thin and therefore it doesn't really hurt. Occasionally a pinch may be felt when the needle is inserted (some people describe it as "mosquito bites"). However, to ensure that the needles are eliciting therapeutic effects, acupuncturists will manipulate needles in ways that people may have various feelings such as pressure, heaviness, numbness, tingling, distending, warmth, electric traveling and etc.

We are in the network of Health Partners and several other major insurances. We also accept worker's compensation and car accident insurances. Please give us your policy information ahead of time to verify your eligibility prior to the actual treatment. If you have a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), Health Saving Account (HSA), or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), we can provide you with proper receipts for reimbursements.

Take I35E South to the Little Canada Rd. exit. Turn right at Little Canada Rd. and continues onto County Rd. C. Turn left at Rice St. Turn left at EdgeWater sign post (see picture on right). Go straight in and turn left at the green dumpster. Drive to the end of the parking lot. Our clinic is the end unit.
