If you would like to plan in advance, we can come to you or you can come to us. Whichever way makes things more comfortable for you. We will sit down with you and go over your wishes. There are two facets of the design process. First, we ask you to consider how you wish to honor and celebrate the life.
Burial
Report
All too often, families discount the value of ceremony after the death of a loved one, and we certainly don't want you to make that mistake. Coming together after a loss is a very essential part of the grieving process. In the depth of early grief, you might think that it would be 'easier' to just take care of things as simply - and as quickly -as possible.
Veterans
Report
Too often, we have had families come in to take care of the final arrangements for their loved one and tell us "They were a Vet, the VA takes care of everything." Sadly, that is not the case and many of our Veterans in Loma Linda are under the wrong impression. Burial in a National Cemetery is covered, but unfortunately mortuary expenses are not covered by the Veterans Administration unless the death was service related.
