We had a very pleasant experience with Ruth and her son Patrick. Their prices were reasonable and you could tell they had a a lot of experience in what they do. She helped us through the whole process and was a big help with the viewing, church services and burial. You can tell it was a family run business because of the level of support they both showed my family.

People have to remember that emotions run high during funerals. Everyone is confused, scared, sad, and a whole other mix of emotions, so they are looking for something to be upset about. So please read some of these negative reviews with a grain of salt. I have to give Akes 5 stars. If I could give them more I would. We explained what we had wanted, but we received above and beyond what we asked for. Everything was done on such a timely manner. We had chosen a church which, with traffic, was over an hour and a half away. Akes was professional, kind, understanding, and so respectful. They were on

I gave one star because it was the only way to post my review or I would have completely removed the stars. Youd expect these people to show sympathy and respect for the family. Not so here. The receptionist was cold and rude when I called for information, and I dont care how busy they are, they should have at least had the decency to notify our family as to when my brother would be cremated! How is this possible? We found out that the cremation took place the day before our final call to them. Any business that can be so irresponsible and disrespectful should no longer be in business. I will rate this place negative ZERO! Made a lot of mistakes from the very beginning. Super unprofessional, bad communication.
Ruth was very rude and super disrespectful got clicked on multiple times. They sent my grandfather in a casket to a whole different city!!! This is unacceptable!!!!!! DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!
