We also offer before or after Day Care / Child Care for ages 2 years through First Grade students. A child's capacity for learning and quest for knowledge is never greater than during their early years.

For over 19 years, Wesleyan Academe at Plymouth Park United Methodist Church has guided young minds in a Christ-centered education. During the 1970s, Plymouth Park Methodist Preschool and Kindergarten was first established to instruct the young preschool student. Renamed Wesleyan Academe in 1993, a new expanded education wing was constructed to accommodate our growing student body.

If we are not listed, please note that if Irving ISD is closed, Wesleyan Academe will also be closed. Delayed starts are subject to each school. We may be closed if Irving ISD has a delayed start.

Wesleyan Academe offers before and after school care for Wesleyan Academe students. Before school care starts at 7:00 am. After school care goes until 6:00 pm. This service is offered to allow parents who work or need extra time in the mornings and or afternoons.
Preschool / Pre-Kindergarten classes prepare the preschool-aged child for future success as the child experiences a teacher-led, knowledge-based environment which combines social awareness with varied learning experiences.We offer preschool classes for ages 2 through 4 years. The Wesleyan Academe offers Kindergarten for students who are ready to begin their elementary education.
