You can also download an property rental application. Or fill out our online house rental application. An application fee must be paid at the time of screening for each tenant over the age of 18. Most applications take 24 to 48 hours for our professional screening company to verify employment, income, rental history, credit and to do a criminal background check.
Management Services

We use highly automated systems. You will receive a monthly financial statement showing monies collected and disbursements that may have occurred. We also provide year-end reporting and custom reports. Reports are accessed through your owner portal. Every 6 to 12 months we make a thorough 178 point inspection of the property inside and outside.

I've worked with a lot of companies prior to this company and I have to say this has been the worst experience I have ever had. We applied for a home 2 weeks ago. Reached out couple days later inquiring on the status of our application, the person told me that it would take 7-10 days stating that the home is available and to give a call back. I gave them a week. After a week, I called them no answer. I emailed them, I received one email back stating their is a application pending. Tried again emailing back, no response from the company. This company is impossible to reach out to with lack of communication

I worked with BlueKey PM over the course of nearly three years as a tenant. We had a few minor things that needed to be addressed prior to moving in which were taken care of in a timely manner. I had a few quesitons throughout my time there and Chris was always very responsive. All in all a great experience.

Blue Key was punctual and professional in all of our interactions with them. Whenever we had issues with anything related to the property, their maintenance and service teams were quick to respond and get things fixed while working with our schedule. When we had to move out due to some personal life events that the owner was going through, they were accommodating and understanding in helping us navigate the complexities of the issue as well as making sure that the deposit was turned around as quickly as possible. My husband and I were Blue Key tenants for 3 years when we moved to Portland before buying our home. The Blue Key team was professional, attentive and kind. We had amazing service from Chris, Torsten, Mari and Tina. We appreciated their attention to detail and glad they wanted to maintain the property we were renting as much as we did! Their efficient tenant portal was easy to set up monthly auto pays and also to request maintenance if we ever needed (which, I should mention was attended to quickly and efficiently). A year ago, with much trepidation, I made the decision to rent my property. As a first time 'landlord', I had many questions and concerns. I interviewed several management agency, but BlueKey just stood out from all the others. I had all sorts of 'what if' scenario questions about what if the renter 'did this' or what if the renter 'damaged that' or what if the renter 'claimed such and such'. Torsten and Chris patiently answered all of my questions, talked to me about situations they had worked through in the past and explained their very careful screening process before even placing a renter.

I was first relieved in finding Blue Key Property Management because the market was so rough it was very hard to find a place; on top of that, it seemed like no other company offered agents that knew anything about the properties for which they were responsible. Blue Key was on top of it; they emailed me when they said they were going to email me, called me back when they said they were going to call me back, etc. I was then excited when they took care of a garage door handle problem over my move in weekend and I didn't even have to ask. In late 2012, I found myself in need of new property management for my Portland rental houses. I live in California so I need a reliable, trustworthy manager I can feel comfortable with. I flew up to Portland and interviewed several firms for the job; but after meeting with them & review of their brochures and documents, I felt most comfortable with Blue Key. Blue Key is a great property managment company with professionals not only screen and select very well qualified renters, provide you with updates, monitor property, but also go above and beyond - exceed my expectations. They are very responsive, easy to communicate. They provide good advices on preparing up the houses for rent and work hard to get my houses rented in two weeks. Their fees are low compared to others - and their services are superb.
