Riverview Nursery & Garden Center was founded by Donald A. Haas in 1973, and has grown to be one of Berks County's largest and most respected garden center, nursery and landscaping companies. In 1995, Donald Haas' daughter, Diane Salks, took over the business, making Riverview a 100% woman-owned business.

Depending on the season, Riverview's staff includes between 24 and 30 trained, experienced, and licensed professionals, several of whom have been with the company for nearly 40 years.
