Root Canal

The procedure consists of us drilling into your tooth and removing all of the decay in the tooth as well as all of the pulp. Once we have removed the pulp of the tooth we fill in the cavity with an inert material call gutta-percha that helps the tooth to maintain its rigid structure. Once the gutta-percha has been placed within we fill in the access hole the same way we would a filling.

Images can be manipulated in several ways, including zooming in on suspect areas and enhancing for better quality. This allows us to see greater details. Your whole appointment is spent with you. We can go over the images, explain what we find, and thoroughly discuss your treatment options. You will have the time to ask any questions you have, which can help you to feel better prepared, and more confident, about getting treatment.

When gum disease advances beyond the initial stages, irritated, swollen gums pull away from the teeth and create pockets.

Bitten lip, tongue or cheek. Biting your lip, tongue or cheek is a common dental injury. It can usually be managed by placing gauze over the injury and holding it in place with gentle pressure. In the event of pain and swelling, both over the counter pain relievers and ice packs can be used. These types of injuries usually heal on their own in just a matter of days.
