From running around the yard slaying dragons with my two kids to mountaintop kisses with my husband, I believe in life's extraordinary, ordinary adventures. Life really is a beautiful, wild, heart-thumping thing. People inspire me. Traveling opens my mind and my heart, renewing my work. Trips to document the stories of nonprofits all over the world fill me up in a way that is unique and gives me purpose.

This is the part of my site where I'm supposed to close the deal. I pitch you on why you need to hire me right this second. And to be honest, that is so not my style. I would much rather be sitting with you having tapas and wine and just talking about how much I want to document your days. Maybe even in Spain.

I believe that there is such power in seeing your birth in photos. Your birth story is one of the most important stories that you will continue to look back on for your entire life. Your story matters and will be a tale you tell in the first months, first years and when you are a grandmother talking to your grandkids.

The stillness of energy and the honest love (too small a word) for this new nugget of life that carries your heart outside of your body now and forever.

Motherhood and the journey to get there is so full. It's full of anticipation, desire, hope, fear and lots of questions. Carrying a baby sits you on the precipice of immeasurable change. And yes the emotions can be overwhelming, but I find this season of life to be one of the most tender and raw spaces for women and families.
