Our bodies have the innate ability to heal itself and maintain a state of balance or homeostasis. However, our modern lifestyle places huge demands on our bodies everyday: stress, psycho-emotional distress, excessive eating, excessive drinking, overworking, pollution, just to name a few. Our body cannot possibly keep up with the demand placed on it, hence we fall off the state of homeostasis and diseases and pain ensue.

Our goal is to help restore the state of balance in the body by using various methods of Eastern medicine including acupuncture and herbal medicine, cupping, moxa, massage, as well as diet and lifestyle modification.

Generally, it does not hurt. Acupuncture needles are solid, very thin, flexible, and not much thicker than a strand of human hair. Although people have varying degrees of sensitivity, the more common sensations felt are compared to that of plucking hair or the sensation of a mosquito bite. Many often find themselves in such a relaxed state during an acupuncture treatment, they fall asleep through the process.
