Steven is the best! We hired him as the photographer for our wedding and he was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the planning process as well as the big day. Most importantly, though, the photos he took were excellent, and perfectly captured our wedding. All of the guests who attended couldn't believe how good they were. We're so glad we found STAK - highly recommend!

We booked Steven after seeing the photos from our friends' wedding and are so happy we did! He was very flexible with our wedding situation and custom creating a package to suit our needs. Our engagement shoot almost was derailed because of rain, but he was flexible with that as well! Our photos are absolutely stunning - he captured all the emotion and feelings for all the different events! He was so responsive during the whole process, and especially during our album creation/review! So happy we used STAK for our wedding!

We have nothing but great things to say about Steven. We initially heard about Steven because he was recommended by our venue and we fell in love with his sample shots. Unfortunately, we were the “lucky ones” to have a wedding during the age of COVID which caused us to pivot to an intimate backyard wedding. Having Steven take part in our wedding as our photographer was by far the best decision we made. Steven was responsive through email, text and phone at all times of the day. Steven was very flexible and accommodating. It was pouring down rain, but we couldn't reschedule (we had once already rescheduled, and it was impossible to reschedule again in the next coming weeks), so we moved forward with our engagement shoot. Steven was so positive despite the weather, and guided us through Central Park so that we can quickly take photos and stay out of the rain. The photos came out beautiful, and the rain made it extra special. Really appreciated Steven's time, and his professionalism :)

We loved working with Steven. Our photos are incredible and we are tough critics. He was also an absolute PLEASURE to work with. For someone SO talented he was also SO professional. Honestly, he was easily the best of all our many vendors. We are so happy that we have these photos to love and remember for the rest of our lives. He really captured the wedding. We're so happy we went with Stak Studios and had Steven photograph our wedding. He managed to find the perfect balance of being everywhere all the time but not being intrusive at all. Most importantly, we were incredibly impressed with the final product, and the huge number of amazing photos he took and edited. Steven was super kind and patient with us and shot our engagement photos as well. My husband and I are not very good with photos and do not like posing (we always come out looking awkward), but Steven did a good job of capturing some amazing moments.
During our wedding, we had a lot of things going on (with a ton of people running around everywhere), yet somehow he and his team were able to capture EVERYTHING (including our dog who was part of our wedding). The photos are so genuine

Top to bottom Steven/STAK exceeds expectation. The moment I came across his website I knew this guy was "it". His wedding photos were not like the thousands of others I'd seen across my lifetime. They told a story & he had a style all his own. It was so obvious I had found someone special. Steven further confirmed my gut feeling upon every interaction I had with him. I honestly cannot tell you how happy my husband and I were that we chose Stak Studios as our photographer. Steven is so easy to work with, amazingly responsive, and on top of all that, he is SO TALENTED!! His photos are so beautiful and I was so happy with what he did for us. Steven was the first person outside of my immediate family and friends that I thought of after I got engaged. I knew off the bat that I wanted images that captured the totally unscripted and impromptu moments of my wedding. And I just knew that Steven was the person to do it.
I first became familiar with his work from another friend's wedding 7 years prior. He managed to catch some epic mid-air dance moves worthy of a rock band photographer and whether or not he'd characterize that as one of his signature styles, I just never forgot that. Working with Steven Young was the best part of our wedding process. He is a lovely man, and very professional. My husband and I chose the package that included an engagement session, the day of the Photoshoot, a hurricane hit. Steven was able to quickly reschedule and was very flexible. The wedding day, he and his associate Peter were on time, and incredibly diligent. They captured the best moments of our special day, and i look forward to another opportunity to work with STAK. As someone who works heavily in the art & design world, and a photographer myself, my highest priority with our wedding planning was finding a very talented and unique photographer. Wow. To say STAK delivers is an understatement.

I really cannot rave enough about Steven and Tak. They are sweet, talented, and great communicators. They have a wonderful photo journalistic style and are able to catching wonderful moments, thereby reinforcing memories of a busy wedding day. They are truly a class act! The responsibility of hiring our wedding photographer was my task. I've been following Steven & Tak's work for quite some time before we hired them. Hiring STAK to photograph our wedding was probably the best decision my husband and I made in the entire planing process. From our first meeting with them (where they were nice enough to answer all our questions and talk to us for hours!), we were blown away by their work and their ability to capture the real emotion of the day in their images.

Tak & Steven (STAK) are two of the most amazing wedding photographers. My husband and I actually found them because one of the photographers that we considered was booked for our special day.
